Macroecoeconomics | Finance | Natural Resource Companies
Hi! I am Denny Irawan (28), a PhD candidate in Economics at the Ardnt-Corden Department of Economics (ACDE) and the Centre for Applied Macroeconomic Analysis (CAMA) in Crawford School of Public Policy, The Australian National University (ANU). My research focuses on the impact of macroeconomic and commodity price uncertainties on the financial dynamics of natural resource companies around the world; and how natural resource companies’ activities affect the environment. I have published at the Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control and Geoderma.
Prior to PhD, I had six years of professional economic research and consulting experience at the Institute for Economic and Social Research (LPEM) at Universitas Indonesia, where I involved mainly in two research groups: (1) Macroeconomics and Financial Sector Policy; and (2) Regional and Energy Resources Policy. I have engaged in more than 40 research and consulting projects.
