Denny Irawan (30) currently serves as Head of Research and Economics at PwC Indonesia. Previously he was Chief Economist at Samudera Indonesia. He was also an economic researcher and consultant at the Institute for Economic and Social Research (LPEM) and a lecturer at the Department of Economics, both at Universitas Indonesia.

Denny finished his PhD in economics at The Australian National University and has engaged in more than 50 research and consulting projects. His research and consulting experience focus mainly on macro, financial, energy and renewable economics. He has published in reputable international journals such as Energy Economics, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control and Geoderma. He has also passed CFA Level 1 exam.

Furthermore, Denny also holds research affiliate status at the Institute for Economic and Social Research (LPEM) at Universitas Indonesia and the Centre for Applied Macroeconomic Analysis (CAMA) at The Australian National University.
